The present invention relates to a method for raising abalone seeds having red shells. The method for raising abalone seeds having red shells comprises a step of preparing a feed composition for abalone seeds comprising processing byproducts generated when processing dried seaweed and seaweed as effective components, and feeding the feed composition to abalone. Thus, the method for raising abalone seeds having red shells allows shell skin of abalone to exhibit a red color by chlorophyll a and d which are chromophore components of seaweed, and beta-carotene generated when drying, thereby causing at least 21% of an increase in a growth rate in comparison to the case of feeding a conventional mixed feed.
