DEHALOGENATED FLAME-RETARDING AGENT AND METHOD FOR FLAME-RETARDING POLYESTER-BASED FIBER PRODUCT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retarding agent which can impart sufficient flame retardancy to polyester-based fiber products while preventing whitening, chalk marks and water spots.

SOLUTION: Tris (diethylphosphinic acid) aluminum salt having an average particle diameter of 0.05-1.5 μm is made water-dispersible by the combined use of an amphoteric surfactant and an anionic polymer surfactant to provide the flame-retarding agent which is adaptable to polyester-based fiber products as an aqueous composition.
