<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seat device from causing excessive deformation by an external force applied to a vehicle on a side collision in a simple structure while avoiding an excessive increase in mass. <P>SOLUTION: A seat cushion frame 24 includes right and left frames 28, 28 that extend longitudinally and are supported on each seat bracket 10, 10, and front and rear frames 29, 30 that connect the front and rear portions of the right and left frames 28, 28. Each end of at least one frame of the front and rear frames 29, 30 is formed with an engaging portion 42 respectively, and each seat bracket 10 is formed with the other engaging portions 43 each opposing externally in the width direction of the vehicle body 2 relative to each engaging portion 42. When the right and left seat brackets 10, 10 are deformed to come closer in the width direction of the vehicle body 2 by the external force F relative to the seat cushion frame 24, the engaging portions 42 are engaged with the other engaging portions 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
