<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus provided with an X-ray detector having an asymmetric shape, which can acquire an appropriate scanogram free from a defect portion. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes the X-ray detector having first and second ends orthogonal to the body axis of a subject and to an X-ray irradiation axis, the first end and second end being disposed close to and far from the X-ray irradiation axis respectively. The X-ray CT apparatus acquires projection data from a first direction and also acquires projection data from a second direction. The X-ray CT apparatus includes a floodlighting means which indicates X-ray irradiation ranges on the first end side and the second end side by floodlighting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
