<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of avoiding degradation of a utilization rate resulting from occupation of users, offering various power supply operations suited to the types of electric vehicles or the circumstances of users, and ensuring high safety even under an unmanned environment. <P>SOLUTION: A charger 1, charging rechargeable batteries for vehicle driving installed on vehicles (electric vehicles 12-1 to 12-n), includes: a plurality of charging connectors 8-1 to 8-n that are connected with the vehicles at charging to supply electric power to the rechargeable batteries; a plurality of connector storage parts that store each of the plurality of charging connectors 8-1 to 8-n; a selection unit (controller 3, switch 7) that selects a power destination from the plurality of charging connectors 8-1 to 8-n; and a voltage generation unit 4 that supplies electric power required for charging to the connector selected by the selection unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
