<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such deficiency in a conventional seed rice hot-water disinfecting apparatus that the number of seeds to be disinfected at a time is limited and seeds can not be efficiently disinfected because seeds are immersed in hot water in a hot-water tank for a prescribed period of time (e.g., 10 minutes) and the seeds are replaced with next seeds when disinfection in hot water is finished. <P>SOLUTION: The seed disinfecting apparatus includes a hot-water disinfection tank (1), and a circulation transfer device (3) for circulating and transferring a plurality of storage containers (2) in which seed bags are stored while immersing the storage containers in hot water within the hot-water disinfection tank (1). The seed disinfecting apparatus also includes a seed cooling tank (11) disposed in a post-process of the hot-water disinfection tank (1). The seed bags are fed to a cooling starting end side of the seed cooling tank (11) and transferred one after another to a cooling terminal end side of the seed cooling tank (11) in synchronization with the circulation transfer device (3), so that seeds are cooled with cooling water in the seed cooling tank (11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
