The table has a caster (20) comprising a workpiece (50) that is mounted in co-operation with a wheel casing (22). The workpiece is controlled between a state (El), in which the workpiece blocks the swiveling of a wheel (21) with respect to a base (10), and another state (E2), in which the wheel is freely to swivel with respect to the base. A controlling unit (60) controls the workpiece such that the workpiece passes from the blocking state to the non-blocking state and vice versa when a plate passes from one position to another position and vice versa. The wheel comprises a tread made of non-skid material such as thermoplastic elastomer, polyurethane, natural rubber or synthetic material. |
