<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus allowing image processing for printing a highly precise two-color image while preventing irregularities in an image. <P>SOLUTION: A color determination unit 12 determines if each pixel of image data is a designated extracted color; a continuous determination unit 13 determines the presence or absence of continuity in an peripheral image of each pixel on the basis of a determination result by the color determination unit 12; a color determination changing unit 14 changes the determination result by the color determination unit for a pixel which is determined to have no continuity in an peripheral image by the continuous determination unit 13 and which is other than a given retention color; a print data generation unit 15 generates print data for two-color printing of a color for printing a pixel of the extracted color and of a color for printing a pixel of a color other than the extracted color, from the image data, using the determination result by the color determination unit including the determination result changed by the color determination changing unit 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
