<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous alloy thin strip which is used for various transformers, reactors, choke coils, noise suppression components, laser power sources, accelerators, communication pulse transformers, motor magnetic cores, generators, magnetic sensors, antenna magnetic cores, current sensors, magnetic shields or the like, and which hardly causes cracks and has excellent workability and soft magnetic properties. <P>SOLUTION: The amorphous alloy thin strip has an alloy composition not containing Cu as a main component other than Fe<SB POS="POST">100-a-b</SB>Si<SB POS="POST">a</SB>B<SB POS="POST">b</SB>(wherein a and b each represent atom% and are each a number satisfying following conditions; 1≤a≤20, 4≤b≤20, and 14≤a+b≤30) and inevitable impurities. The amorphous alloy thin strip is produced by a single-roll method using a roll made of a copper alloy and is not subjected to a heat treatment. The concentration of Cu in the depth direction from the surface on the free surface side of the thin strip is lower than 0.1 atom%. The concentration of Cu on the surface side brought into contact with the roll is controlled so that the peak concentration of Cu in the depth range of 5-50 nm excluding the outermost surface is 0.1 to 4 atom%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
