<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel isocyanate derivative which can react with a suitable nucleophilic group and can provide various types of foam mesh bodies without having defects of free isocyanate groups. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a modified polyisocyanate obtained by: reacting a polyisocyanate having at least three isocyanate groups with at least one cyclic carbonate obtained by reacting a vicinal hydroxy compound with an active carbonylating agent; and masking the unreacted isocyanate group with a masking agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
