<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which effectively enhances safety and usability by inhibiting start of a heating operation not intended by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises a top plate (1), a heating mode selection key (8) for allowing a user to select a mode between a manual heating mode of heating by setting a heating power by use of a power control key (9) and at least another control mode of automatically controlling the heating power, and a heating start/stop key (7) for starting of heating. A control unit allows the user during operations in a standby mode to start heating only when the heating start/stop key (7) is manipulated after shifting to a cooking menu selection mode based on manipulation of the heating mode selection key (8). Furthermore, when a predetermined time elapses after shifting to the cooking menu selection mode, it is shifted to the standby mode, thereby preventing start of a heating operation not intended by the user when the heating start/stop key (7) is accidentally manipulated while heating is stopped, and effectively enhancing safety and usability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
