<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which no displacement between components occurs by force acting in an anti-fitting direction, and which has a structure that can prevent breakage or deformation of a stationary portion of a connector connected to a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: Between a contact piece support part 24 and an end portion 22 of a body 2, a shoulder 25 is formed to extend in a direction opposite to the installation direction D2 and contact a protruding portion 55 of an engagement component 5. When the engagement component 5 is moved along the installation direction D2 with respect to the body 2, the protruding portion 55 of the engagement component 5 and the shoulder 25 of the body 2 come into contact with each other.
