Disclosed is a copolymer of a conjugated diene compound and a non-conjugated olefin characterized in that the copolymer is a random copolymer in which the monomeric units of the conjugated diene compound and the non-conjugated olefin are irregularly arranged. Preferably, the non-conjugated olefin is an acyclic olefin and has 2 to 10 carbon atoms. Preferably, the non-conjugated olefin is ethylene, propylene, or 1-butene.
