SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SENSING BLOOD PRESSURE

A blood pressure measuring device and a method thereof are disclosed. The blood pressure measuring device comprises: a sensor unit configured to irradiate light to an object to be inspected and detect a signal change of the light by the object to be inspected; and a signal processing unit configured to obtain a biometric signal from a signal detected from the sensor unit. A central processing unit calculates blood pressure by using a blood pressure estimation algorithm, stored in a memory, from the obtained biometric signal.
