<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a new dipeptide which promotes new hair growth/hair restoration irrespective of condition of a disease and physical constitution and is effective for various types of alopecia; a method for producing the same; and a hair restorer containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dipeptide derivative is represented by formula (1a) (wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is hydrogen, a hydroxy group or a lower alkyl group which may be substituted with a lower alkoxy group or a hydroxy lower alkoxy group and A is a hydrophobic amino acid residue or an aromatic amino acid residue, provided that when R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is hydrogen, A is neither a glycine residue nor an alanine residue) and includes a salt thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
