<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a fixing belt and fixing device that are capable of reducing frictional force generated between an inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt and a member contacting the inner circumferential surface, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: As a fixing belt 102 rotates in the circumferential direction, an inner circumferential surface thereof slides against a contacting member, generating frictional force between the inner circumferential surface (the inner circumferential surface of a metallic layer 146) of the fixing belt 102 and the contacting member. Here, the inner circumferential surface of a metallic layer 146 is provided with an irregular part 150 for retaining a lubricant 148, suppressing the lubricant 148 from running out when the inner circumferential surface of a metallic layer 146 slides against the contacting member 118, and reducing the frictional force generated between the inner circumferential surface (the inner circumferential surface of a metallic layer 146) of the fixing belt 102 and a contacting member 118 that contacts the inner circumferential surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
