摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow multiple workpieces to be gripped easily even when the workpieces are adjacent to each other and displaced in a direction crossing the direction in which the workpieces are adjacent to each other. <P>SOLUTION: A workpiece gripping apparatus 1 includes four workpiece gripping units 5, 7, 9, and 11 which grip four components 13, 15, 17, and 19 respectively. The components 17 and 19 are placed on the component 13 and 15 respectively. The workpiece gripping units 5 and 7, which grip the components 13 and 15 respectively, have vertical cylinders 27 and 27A that allow lower-end arms 37 and 37A to move up and down with respect to a gripping frame 3. When the whole workpiece gripping apparatus 1 is moved up with the four workpiece gripping units 5, 7, 9, and 11 gripping the four components 13, 15, 17, and 19 respectively, the vertical cylinders 27 and 27A are extended, and the components 13 and 15 are positioned apart downward from the components 17 and 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
