<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved showcase in which a front glass raised at the front part of the showcase so as to be firmly held in a recessed groove portion of a front cap without backlash. <P>SOLUTION: In the showcase, the front cap 7 made of a mold resin attached to the upper end of a front wall of a body case is formed with the recessed groove portion 7a for inserting and holding a front glass 6 at the top of the front cap, and a packing member 9 for preventing the backlash of the front glass 6 is laid in a groove inside wall surface of the recessed groove portion 7a. The packing member 9 is made of a soft resin-based elastomer, and is integrally formed with the front cap 7 by a two-color molding method.
