PURPOSE: An image compensation method and image capturing apparatus are provided to improve image correction rates by correcting the distortion of laser surfaces. CONSTITUTION: An image capturing apparatus corrects images by using a compensation surface(S1100). The image capturing apparatus projects two or more laser surfaces to the compensation surface(S1200). The image capturing apparatus acquires the images including a crossing point between two laser surfaces(S1300). The image capturing apparatus corrects the acquired image by using the crossing point and the compensation information of a camera(S1400).
