PURPOSE: A device for adjusting the height of an upper plate of a desk is provided to adjust the height of the upper plate according to the physical condition of a user or work environment. CONSTITUTION: A device for adjusting the height of an upper plate of a desk comprises: a supporting plate(10) which is supported by a leg member; an upper plate(20) which is dually arranged on the top of the supporting plate; and a height adjusting unit(40) which is arranged between the supporting plate and upper plate and adjusts the height of the upper plate by being folded and unfolded. The height adjusting unit includes a plurality of X-shaped crossbars(43), a plurality of upper and lower moving shafts(42,41), a plurality of rotation rollers(45), a plurality of upper and lower guide rails, a rotary plate(48), and a cylinder member(50).
