PURPOSE: An electric motor for electric vehicles is provided to surround a fixed shaft with a wire which is inserted into inside of a housing of an electric motor, thereby eliminating a separate through-hole for inserting a wire in the fixed shaft. CONSTITUTION: An electric motor for electric vehicles comprises a housing(20) which includes a fixed shaft(10), a stator(220), and a rotor(210). The rotor is combined in the fixed shaft with a bearing. The fixed shaft secures durability in order to support the housing which includes the rotor. The housing has a structure which arranges frames in inner and outer parts of the electric motor. A fixed shaft combining part(223) is combined in the fixed shaft. An armature coil(222) is wound on an armature core(221). A wire is connected to the armature coil in order to supply a current. A magnetic field generated by a magnet(214) interacts with a magnetic field generated by the armature coil.
