<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump device in which an impeller is prevented from tilting with respect to a partition during rotation of the impeller. <P>SOLUTION: This centrifugal blood pump device includes: an impeller 10 provided within a blood chamber 7; permanent magnets 15a, 15b provided to one surface of the impeller 10; and permanent magnets 16a, 16b provided to the inner wall of the blood chamber 7 to attract the permanent magnets 15a, 15b, respectively. The attractive force between the permanent magnets 15a, 15b and the permanent magnets 16a, 16b on the aperture 7a side of a sidewall of the blood chamber 7 is set to be lower than that between the permanent magnets 15a, 15b and the permanent magnets 16a, 16b on the opposite side of the aperture 7a.
