<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of power generation performance in the case where an electrolyte membrane is deformed in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell comprises an electrolyte membrane, a catalyst layer which has a first contact face in contact with the electrolyte membrane and is disposed in contact with the electrolyte membrane, a gas diffusion layer disposed on the back of the first contact face, an adhesive layer which is disposed between the catalyst layer and the gas diffusion layer to bond the catalyst layer to the gas diffusion layer and has a first adhesive part and a second adhesive part with lower bonding strength than that of the first adhesive part, and an outer member which has a gas passage formation part to form a gas passage for supplying reactant gas for the fuel cell to the gas diffusion layer by contact with the gas diffusion layer and is disposed on the back of the second contact face which is the contact face with the adhesive layer in the gas diffusion layer. The first adhesive part is disposed in the position corresponding to the gas passage formation part, and the second adhesive part is disposed in the position corresponding to the gas passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
