PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive film having heat resistance and mechanical strength, with high proton conductivity.

SOLUTION: The proton conductive film having a network structure with an Si-O bond includes an arylene group bonded to Si atoms composing the network structure and also bonded with a proton donor group, or a naphthyl group bonded to the Si atoms composing the network structure and also bonded with the proton donor group.
