<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an aqueous pigment dispersing liquid which is largely reduced in rough and large particles existing in the aqueous pigment dispersing liquid, can miniaturize the dispersing particles, can improve dispersion stability, as a result, can obtain favorable discharge stability when producing an inkjet recording aqueous ink, and is high in production efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the aqueous pigment dispersing liquid is characterized by comprising: a kneading step which kneads mixtures containing a quinacridone-based pigment (a), a styrene-acrylic acid-based copolymer (c), a basic compound (d), and polypropylene glycol (e) having a hydroxy value of 150 to 700(mgKOH/g), and produces a solid pigment dispersing body at normal temperature; and a mixing step which mixes an aqueous medium into the pigment dispersing body, lowers viscosity, and liquefies the pigment dispersing body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
