<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition having the ability to inhibit microbes under normal use over a long period of time (e.g., 24 h or longer) after applied onto a surface, with the dried coating film having transparency, non tackiness, durability and removability. <P>SOLUTION: The coating composition includes: (a) one or more microbicidal agents; (b) one or more non-anionic soluble polymers having acrylamide as polymerization unit; and (c) a solvent. In the coating composition, the microbicidal agents includes one or more ones selected from the group consisting of one or more quaternary ammonium-based microbicidal agents, one or more phenolic microbicidal agents, one or more biguanide-based microbicidal agents, and mixtures thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
