摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength multiplex optical transmission system capable of achieving high-density optical signals to the extent that interference between optical signals does not occur. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength multiplex optical transmission system includes a transmission station for multiplexing a plurality of optical signals having respective different wavelengths, generating the wavelength multiplexed light and transmitting the light, and a reception station for receiving the wavelength multiplexed light from the transmission station via a transmission path. The transmission station includes changing means for changing a wavelength interval of the plurality of the optical signals and transmission means for multiplexing the plurality of the optical signal of which the wavelength interval is changed, generating the wavelength multiplexed light and transmitting the light. The reception station includes receiving means for receiving the wavelength multiplexed light transmitted via the transmission path and setting means for detecting whether a degree of interference between the optical signals in the wavelength multiplexed light exceeds a threshold value or not, and setting the wavelength intervals of the plurality of the optical signals to the wavelength intervals set by the changing means when a detection result is changed among the wavelength intervals changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
