<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator drive circuit capable of obtaining high energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator drive circuit (3) includes a driving element drive circuit (8) for deforming a drive element (4a) in a vibrating manner and a driven element control circuit (10). The driven element control circuit includes a voltage source (22); a coil (28) of which a first terminal is connected to a driven element (4b); a unidirectional conduction element (24) for connecting between a second terminal of the coil and the power source and applying an electric current only to a power source direction from the second terminal of the coil; a switching element (26), connected between the second terminal of the coil and a ground potential, for switching between a conductive state and a non-conductive state by a control signal; and control signal generation circuits (32, 33) for generating the control signal to regenerate electric power in the power source from the second terminal of the coil by switching the switching element to the non-conductive state at a predetermined timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
