SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE FOR SELF MONITORING OF POOR CONNECTION USING DC BIAS CURRENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting poor connection associated with a sensor by obtaining a measured value associated with a voltage mode sensor.

SOLUTION: A DC bias current 322 is connected to inside a circuit including a voltage mode sensor 320. A time-varying signal 323 from the voltage mode sensor 320 is monitored by a detection block 301. A nominal level of the DC bias current 322 is set, and a voltage 324 produced by the DC bias current 322 is monitored by the detection block 301. A connection state of the circuit (open or close of input wiring) is determined based on the voltage.
