COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for a display device which can contribute to the reading of information from outside with high accuracy.

SOLUTION: A substrate 50 is arranged to be opposite to a rear side substrate 70 with an optical sensor 81. The substrate has a substrate material 51 and an optical filter part 61 formed in such a position that it faces the optical sensor. The maximum transmittance of the optical filter part with respect to light with wavelength of 380 nm to 500 nm is less than 1%. The maximal transmittance of the optical filter part with respect to light with wavelength of 550 nm to 630 nm is less than 1%. The maximal transmittance of the optical filter part with respect to light with wavelength of 630 nm to 750 nm is less than 2%.
