<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white balance adjustment device which allows white balance adjustment in an environment having no specific installed matter for white balance adjustment, dispenses with time for attaching and detaching a white balance adjustment member to a camera, and reduces power consumption, thereby being suitably adjustable to a compact camera. <P>SOLUTION: In a camera, at a position nearer to a subject than a lens 22, there is fixedly installed a liquid crystal element 21 which comes into a light-transmitting state while no voltage is applied and which comes into a state intermediate between the light transmitting state and a light-scattering state when a predetermined voltage is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
