WATERPROOFED LIGHTING DEVICE AND LIGHTING FIXTURE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof lighting device capable of having good assembling operability and dispensing with new manufacture of a waterproof case for every lighting device and attaining common use of the waterproof case and regulating free movements in a lateral direction even when a lateral dimension of the stored lighting device is small against the waterproof case and easily performing positioning.

SOLUTION: The lighting device includes: the waterproof case 4 having a cylindrical shape with both ends opened and having grooves 5a axially extending from one opened end to the other opened end on a top face or a bottom face of its inner peripheral surface; the lighting device 2 having an outer enclosure capable of being stored in the waterproof case 4 and covering electric components and having a plurality of projections 3 capable of fitting into the grooves 5a at the time of storing inside the waterproof case 4 and always coming into contact with at least edges of the grooves 5a, in an area in an upper surface or a lower surface of the outer enclosure corresponding to the grooves 5a; packings 6 for blocking openings by mounting on the openings of the waterproof case 4; and metal fittings 7 for fixing the packings 6 to the openings.
