<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in an entire radio communication system by reducing transmission power of radio signals in downlink, while sufficiently securing coverage areas where a radio communication terminal can receive the radio signal in downlink. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system of the present invention includes: TRX base stations 20 having both uplink coverage areas UA and downlink coverage areas DA; and TX base stations 30-1 to 30-6 having downlink coverage areas DA1-DA6. The TX base stations 30-1 to 30-6 are arranged around each TRX base station 20 so as to allow the total downlink coverage area, which is obtained by adding the downlink coverage area DA of the TRX base station 20 to the downlink coverage areas DA1-DA6 of the TX base stations 30-1 to 30-6, to be substantially equal to the uplink coverage area UA of the TRX base station 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
