CORE/SHELL LANTHANUM CERIUM TERBIUM PHOSPHATE, PHOSPHOR CONTAINING SAID PHOSPHATE, AND PREPARATION METHODS

A phosphate containing particles including a mineral core and a lanthanum cerium terbium phosphate shell uniformly coating the mineral core with a thickness greater than or equal to 300 nm is described. The particles can have a mean diameter between 3μm and 6μm and the lanthanum cerium terbium phosphate can have the following general formula (1): La(1-x-y)CexTbyPO4 (1), wherein x and y comply with the following conditions: 0.4≰x≰0.7 and 0.13≰y≰0.17. A phosphor including the above-described phosphate is also described.
