The symposer (2) has sound inlet- and outlet chambers separated by a sound symposer membrane, where the symposer cooperates with an air inlet in a region of an intercooler (1) that is provided for compacted or turbocharged intake air. The sound inlet chamber is connected with an inner space of the intercooler that has an outlet box (5) for accommodating the symposer. The symposer is arranged adjacent to a connecting piece (11) of the intercooler, where a pressure sensor (8) is supported in the connecting piece.
