<p>The method involves controlling drive of a pump (1) according to measured pressure. The pump is switched off if lapse time of an active examination of measured pressure in a pipe line (2) is not reduced. Normal work of the pump is restored if the lapse of time of the active examination of the measured pressure in the pipe line is reduced. Inflow of liquid i.e. water from the pump to a return valve by a controllable flap is not changed if the lapse time of the active examinations lies between 30 to 90 seconds after the existence of relative large current is determined.</p>
