<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-on-control circuit capable of providing protection and safety for an information processing device by stopping power feeding immediately after power-on when a circuit of the device is failed. <P>SOLUTION: A power-on-control circuit 1 is provided in a load circuit connected to a power unit 2 for supplying a DC power according to a power-on signal and receiving a supply of the DC power as a main power supply. The power-on-control circuit 1 includes an output circuit 3 for outputting a power-on signal 32 to the power unit 2, a timer 5 for starting a timer when the power-on signal is activated, and a main power source monitoring circuit 4 for outputting a main power source normality signal when the voltage of the main power source becomes an approximately specified voltage. When the main power source normality signal is not output before a prescribed time expires, the power unit is made to stop the supply of the DC power.
