<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote heat radiation of the amount of heat generated accompanying light emission of a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device is provided with a light guide plate which has a thickness between a pair of main surfaces and emits light entered from one end face from a prescribed region of one of the main surfaces of the pair of the main surfaces, a light source which emits light toward the one end face of the light guide plate, and a light source board on one surface of which the light source is connected. The light source device is further provided with a spacer which is in contact with a face on the opposite side to the side where the light source is connected on the light source board. The spacer includes a light-shielding substrate having a light-shielding performance and a heat conductive substrate which is laminated on the light-shielding substrate and has a higher thermal conductivity than the light-shielding substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
