<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image forming apparatus, and image processing program that maintains correction of a density unevenness and makes an area of a detection image smaller than in the case of correcting density unevenness using only a detection image that is long in the primary scanning direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device performs the following processes of: forming a toner band 60 long in a primary scanning direction; detecting density at positions x1 through x13 in the primary scanning direction to store the densities (measurement values) measured at the respective positions; detecting densities at detection positions (detection positions x<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-1 and x<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-1) in toner patches 62A and 62B to calculate an approximation line passing on two detection values when density unevenness in the primary scanning direction is corrected during forming an image based on image data; calculating differences between the densities at individual positions x1 through x13 in the primary scanning direction and approximation values of densities obtained from the approximation line calculated by the two detection values; and adding the calculated differences to an average value of the densities at respective positions x1 through x13 in the primary scanning direction to acquire correction values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
