<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detector capable of obtaining excellent output characteristics while reducing cost and improving assembly workability by using a single magnetic material. <P>SOLUTION: An angle detector 1 comprises: a single and flat magnetic material 4a in a substantially circular shape; a pair of magnets 4b being in contact with both ends 4a1 of the magnetic material 4a; a rotational member 4 including the magnetic material 4a and the magnets 4b and rotating in accordance with operation amount of operation means; and a magnetic detection part 5 for detecting a change in a leakage magnetic field of the magnetic material 4a accompanying with the rotation of the rotational member 4.
