<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a contact point according to an actual consumption state while securing the contact reliability of the contact point such as an electromagnetic contactor used for the control of an electromagnetic brake. <P>SOLUTION: A brake control device controls an electromagnetic brake used for a braking device of an elevator. The brake control device includes: an electromagnetic contactor 5 in which a plurality of normally opened contact points 5a1, 5a2 which are synchronously opened and closed are connected in parallel between an electromagnetic brake 2 and a power source 3; normally closed contact points 6b, 7b which are connected in series to the normally opened contacts 5a1, 5a2, respectively; and a control circuit 1 in which one of the normally closed contact points 6b, 7b is selected, the selected normally closed contact point is kept closed, the remaining normally closed contact point is controlled so as to be opened for a predetermined time before and after changing the opening/closing of the normally opened contact points 5a1, 5a2 by the electromagnetic contactor 5, and the normally closed contact point to be selected is changed according to the opening/closing number of the normally opened contact points 5a1, 5a2 by the electromagnetic contactor 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
