Provided are: a solar cell module which has improved power generation efficiency by reducing the non-power-generation area in the surface layout; and a method for manufacturing the solar cell module. A solar cell module (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a solar cell array (31) (a first solar cell (10) and a second solar cell (20) that are connected in series via an interconnector (30)); a light-transmitting substrate (35) which is arranged on the front surface side of the solar cell array (31); a protective member (36) which is arranged on the rear surface side of the solar cell array (31); a light-transmitting sealing member (37) (a front surface-side sealing member (37f) and a rear surface-side sealing member (37r)) that is arranged between the light-transmitting substrate (35) and the protective member (36) and seals the solar cell array (31); and a first output lead wire (15) which is connected to a rear surface electrode (12) of the first solar cell (10) and outputs electrical power to the outside. The first output lead wire (15) is extended toward the second solar cell (20) and taken out to the outside through an opening portion (36m) that is formed in the protective member (36). |
