PURPOSE: A connector, connector manufacturing method, and apparatus thereof are provided to reduce the size of a connector by integrating a cover insulator with a holder. CONSTITUTION: A base insulator(1) includes a pair of convex holders(8). The base insulator maintains the holders at a contact point(3). A cover insulator is welded at the holder in order to maintain a contact point by cooperating with the base insulator. The base insulator includes a pair of opening units(7c). The base insulator crosses with the holder. The welding state of the holder is checked by the opening unit.
