PURPOSE: An antenna device and a communication device are provided to increase the directivity of an antenna by arranging a director in a radiating direction of a helical antenna. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(111) has a helical shape, which forms line-shaped conductors as a helical shape at a first interval of P along an axis of S, and radiates circularly polarized wave in a direction of the axis. A director(112) is arranged in a radiating direction of the antenna at a second interval to the antenna, the same interval as the first along the axis. The director includes conducting elements arranged along the axis. An interval between the antenna and the conducting elements and between the two neighboring conducting elements is set as the second interval.
