<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lancet assembly with a puncturing track of a puncture member made as linear as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the lancet assembly wherein a lancet body with the tip section of the puncture member exposed is obtained by having a lancet cap separated from the lancet body by breaking a bridge member when the lancet cap is pushed in the puncturing direction with the lancet body fixed to a lancet holder, and the separated lancet cap moves to a position escaping the puncturing track of the puncture member when pushing of the separated lancet cap is continued in the puncturing direction, a projection is provided on a side surface of the lancet cap so that the puncture member is brought into contact with the projection when the lancet body with the tip section of the puncture member exposed is discharged at the time of puncturing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
