摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot that alleviates damage to a hand even if a large impact occurs when the tip of the hand and peripheral equipment collide with each other. <P>SOLUTION: An industrial robot 1 for conveying conveyance objects 2 includes a hand 3 on which the conveyance objects 2 are loaded, and a detection mechanism for detecting that the tip of the hand 3 has collided with peripheral equipment of the industrial robot 1, and is configured to be moved substantially linearly in the state that the hand 3 is directed in a prescribed direction.
