<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device and an image formation device with which toner adhered on a pre-cleaning member is prevented from adhering on an image carrier once again. <P>SOLUTION: When a refresh mode is performed (YES in S1), it is checked whether or not the amount of toner attachment of toner consumption pattern exceeds 0.6 [mg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>] or more (S2). When the attachment amount exceeds 0.6 [mg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>] (YES in S2), a contacting and separating solenoid 111 is controlled to separate a pre-opposite roller 13 from an intermediate transfer belt 8 directly after the passage of the toner consumption pattern through a pre-cleaning nip (S3, S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
