<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size, weight and cost of a capacitor used for vehicles such as hybrid vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitor comprises an element 1 having an anode electrode 2 and a cathode electrode 3 formed at both ends; a metal case 6 housing the element 1 and electrolytic solution, and joined to the anode electrode 2 of the element 1 at an inner bottom surface; a collector plate 5 with a terminal, which includes a terminal part 5a, and is joined to the cathode electrode 3 of the element 1; and a sealing rubber 7 which is fitted into an opening of the metal case 6 and compressed by processing an area near the opening of the metal case 6 to seal the opening. One of the electrodes of the element 1 is pulled out from the metal case 6, and the other electrode is pulled out from the terminal part 5a of the collector plate 5 with the terminal, thereby the electrodes are pulled out in the shortest distance, and thus the resistance is significantly reduced, while the cost is significantly reduced in a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
