<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantitative determination method of copper capable of accurately determining the quantity of copper by a fluorescent X-ray analyzer even in a case of a solution containing copper at a high concentration. <P>SOLUTION: In an analytical method for quantitatively determining copper by dropwise adding a sulfuric acid-acidic solution containing copper to a hygroscopic member having hygroscopicity using a fluorescent X-ray analyzer, the sulfuric acid-acidic solution is diluted to a copper concentration where a copper compound is not precipitated on the surface of the hygroscopic member when the sulfuric acid-acidic solution is dropwise added to the hygroscopic member and dried. The copper concentration in the sulfuric acid-acidic solution is diluted to a concentration where the copper compound is not precipitated on the surface of the hygroscopic member, thereby enabling preventing the occurrence of measurement error due to the presence of the copper compound on the surface of the hygroscopic member or measurement error due to peeling of the precipitated copper compound or the like. Since the copper compound is not precipitated on the surface of the hygroscopic member, the measurement value of copper to be quantitatively determined can be prevented from being changed in repeatedly determining the same hygroscopic member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
