<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling/packaging machine having a lateral sealing device which filling/packaging machine reduces vibrations and noises in high-speed operation, reduced in size and weight, and has improved durability and recyclability. <P>SOLUTION: In the process of continuously taking out long, belt-shaped packaging films and transfering them from the upper side to the lower side, the filling/packaging machine makes a folding device fold each to overlap both edges of the same and a vertical sealing device seals up the overlapped portion to make a cylindrical film, which is sealed up laterally into a bag shape by a lateral sealing device having a pair of lateral seal rolls attached to a board via a up-and-down mechanism that is moved up and down reciprocatively using a reciprocative crank mechanism located above a sealing section. A nozzle of a filling device is inserted into the bag-shaped film to fill it with a content article, after which the same is sealed by the lateral sealing device. Hence the filling/packaging machine forms packaging bags continuously. At least any one of the board supported be capable of moving up and down reciprocatively by the up-and-down mechanism of the lateral sealing device, shafts of the lateral seal rolls, and a bearing case supporting the shafts on the board is formed of a magnesium alloy or titanium alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
